President of the Texas Rangers, Jeff Cogen to Speak at the HEB Chamber June 2007 Membership Luncheon

Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Texas: For Immediate Release, June 8, 2007

Jeff Cogen, president of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club will be the keynote speaker during the June 14th HEB Chamber monthly membership luncheon. Cogen was named president of the Texas Rangers in 2004 after a one year stint as the club’s Chief Operating Officer. Before his career with the Rangers, Jeff also worked with the Dallas Stars, Florida Panthers and the Detroit Red Wings.

As President of the Rangers, Mr. Cogen is in charge of the club’s day to day business operations and represents the Rangers in Major League Baseball meetings. Also attending the June luncheon are students and area businesses involved in the Career Connections program, which provides on-the job introduction and instruction to interested high school students.

The Chamber’s membership luncheon sponsor for June is ?. Monthy membership luncheons are held at First United Methodist Church of Hurst, 521 W. Pipeline Road, Hurst. Networking begins at 11:00 a.m. Buffet opens at 11:30 a.m. $15/members w/R.S.V.P. by June 11, $18 after and $30 for non-members.
