HEB Chamber of Commerce Announces August/September Members of the Month and Ambassador of the 4th Quarter

Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Texas: For Immediate Release, October 12, 2007

The HEB Chamber recognizes Ellie Schweyher, for August 2007 and Pam Conley for September 2007 as Members of the Month. Ellie Schweyher and Pam Conley are very generous with their time and talents and quick to volunteer to help with Chamber events. During last month’s Annual Awards Gala these two ladies worked double time to make the event a success. Members of the month are volunteers who go "above and beyond" the call of duty. Ellie is very active on the Chamber Executive Committee and in attendance at most Chamber events. Pam volunteered during the past few months as a member of the Gala Committee and has been instrumental in organizing and executing to make the Annual Awards Gala the event of the Year.

The Al Dupree Ambassador of the 4th Quarter was awarded to Jim Gathright of Mannatech. Ambassadors are known as the meeters and greeters of the Chamber. Ambassadors are essential in helping new members feel welcome and to get involved. Jim is very active with Chamber Leads Groups and Ribbon Cuttings.
