Hurst Euless Bedford Chamber of Commerce donates items to Feed by Grace
Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Texas: For Immediate Release, December 19, 2007
HEB Chamber of Commerce members make a difference in the community by collecting socks and toiletry samples for the Feed by Grace organization. Feed by Grace is a non-profit organization focused on providing support and assistance to the homeless population of Tarrant County.
Hundreds of socks and samples were collected by HEB Chamber members during November and December. The items donated were given to the homeless during the Feed by Grace annual Christmas event at Unity Park on December 8, 2007.
Unity Park is a recreational center and a spiritual haven for the areas homeless population. Featured programs at the park include pick-up basketball games, employment, vocational training, life skills training, bible studies, mentoring, and more.
Neale Mansfield, Executive Director, Feed by Grace, says, “Special thanks to all of you who donated socks and toiletries. Your donation is going to bless and put a smile on someone in need.”
