Focus on Leadership during the May HEB Chamber Membership Luncheon
Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Texas: For Immediate Release, May 6, 2008
Robert Earley, Senior Vice President for Public Affairs and Advocacy at JPS Health Network will be the keynote speaker at the monthly Chamber membership luncheon, May 8, 2008.
Earley began his career in politics. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for ten years. During his tenure, he was a member of the Ways and Means, Appropriations, and the Higher Education committees. He also served as Chairman of the House Energy Committee. After leaving the Legislature in 1995, Robert accepted a teaching position at Texas A&M University. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he directed and produced an award winning weekly radio show for the College of Veterinary Medicine as well as edited a quarterly alumni publication. Earley also taught at St. Edwards University in Austin for 12 years. In 2004, he formed The Earley Group, a company that specialized in assisting corporations and organizations in developing public campaigns to better communicate their message and gain public support for their cause.
Mr. Earley will speak to the graduating 2008 Leadership HEB class who will be recognized during the Luncheon .
The Chamber's membership luncheon sponsor for May is ONCOR Electric Delivery. Monthly membership luncheons are held at the First United Methodist Church of Hurst, 521 W. Pipeline Road, Hurst. Networking begins at 11:00 a.m. Buffet opens at 11:30 a.m. Cost for the luncheon is $15/members w/R.S.V.P. or $18 if billed and $30 for non-members.
