Here’s what the most recent graduates had to say about the program:
“The 2014 Leadership Class has been an incredible experience for me personally. I’ve been able to see a unique perspective of what is going on behind the scenes in our area and I’ve been able to meet some amazing people, who’ve become great friends along the way. The offsite trips to the JPS Hospital and the Fire Academy in Fort Worth were my favorite, because of what I learned throughout the tours. Over all, the HEB Leadership experience was definitely a great investment for myself both personally and professionally and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering participating in the future.” - Bobby Carr, BB&T Bank Bedford
“I was new to the HEB area when I began the 2014 Leadership Program. I learned a vast amount about the area and met people who have become great friends. It was a truly valuable experience.” - Kristi Tomlinson, Preservation Financial
“What a phenomenal way to connect with other leaders and learn about our community. I am truly a better person because of the experiences and friendships I have gained through the HEB Leadership experience. This time has helped me to feel more grounded and connected to the area I work in and also call home.” -Nicole Montignani, Paralegal, Benenati Law Firm, PC
“Each month’s special event was awesome. The Challenge Course was physically demanding but loads of fun. My favorite besides the Challenge Course was the tour of JPS Hospital led by the President, Mr. Early. Everything was well planned and a positive learning experience. Thank you, HEB Chamber, for this opportunity to increase my leadership skills.” – Darlene Hollingsworth, The Clubhouse for Special Needs, Inc.
