Bellaire Park

Bellaire Park is located in Southeast Hurst at 500 Pecan Drive. Established in 1962, Bellaire Park sits on 6.4 acres. In 1993, the City acquired an additional 5.2 acres of park land and established Bellaire Park North. Bellaire Park North was renamed to honor Ms. Vivagene Copeland, a former City Council member. Ms. Copeland served on the Hurst City Council for 10 years, from 1991 to 2001, until she retired. Click to find more info»

Billy Creek Park

Central Park

Central Park is located in South Hurst in the 700 block of Mary Drive. Established in 1955 it is made up of 17.5 acres of park land and is home to the Hurst Recreation Center, the Central Aquatics Center, and the Tennis Center. Chisholm Park

Established in 1969, Chisholm Park is the City of Hurst’s largest park, covering 50 acres. Located in North Hurst at 2200 Norwood Drive, Chisholm Park offers many opportunities for fun. Swimming, fishing, or watching the area youth athletic team sports are just a few of the amenities available at Chisholm Park. Heritage Village Plaza

Heritage Village Plaza is located in Southwest Hurst at 837 W. Pipeline Road. Established in 2009, Heritage Village Plaza sits on 1.2 acres and is conveniently located adjacent to the 45 acre Hurst Community Park. Highway 10 Linear Park

Hurst Athletic Complex

Hurst Athletic Complex is located at 2104 Precinct Line Road. It is home to the City of Hurst Adult Softball Program, as well as many youth sports leagues. The 42.2 acres HAC softball complex was completely renovated and reopened in 2003. Click to Find More Info»

Hurst Community Park

Hurst Community Park is located at 601 Precinct Line Road. The park was originally known as Wells Park and consisted of around 10 acres of park land.The City aquired an additional 34 acres and combined with the original park land, developed Hurst Community Park in 1994. Jaycee – Baker Park

Jaycee – Baker Park is located in Southwest Hurst at 500 Belmont. The park was established in 1959 by park land donated by E.L. Library Park

Library Park is located in Southwest Hurst at 901 Precinct Line Road. Established in 2009, Library Park sits on 5.25 acres and surrounds the Hurst Public Library. Mayfair Linear Park

Mayfair Park is located at 1725 Norwood on 8.3 acres and is part of the City of Hurst’s undeveloped park land. It is located along Valley View Creek that connects the adjacent L.D. Bell High School in the south to Mayfair Park in the middle and Harwood Road to the north. It features wide open spaces along both sides of the water’s edge in the southern section. Mayfair Park

Mayfair Park is located at 1725 Norwood. Located on 6.1 acres, it provides access for all children, including those with physical challenges. A large area for athletic practices is also available. Rickel Park

The Rickel family purchased Hurst property, including what is now known as Rickel Park, on March 25, 1936. The City of Hurst acquired the park property as a donation in 1986 and officially dedicated it as Rickel Park on April 28, 1990. Various grants and donations have transformed the area into a 29 acre passive park containing 2 pavilions, a playground, 8 picnic areas, a winding stream, and 1 1/2 miles of walking and jogging trails. Smith-Barfield Park

Smith-Barfield Park is located at 640 Pleasantview. Covering almost 7 acres, the park was established in 1973. A pedestrian bridge has recently been added connecting the baseball/softball field and tennis court sections of the park with the playground area. Vivagene Copeland Park

Vivagene Copeland Park sits on 5.2 acres and is located adjacent to Bellaire Park which provides and additional 6.4 acres of park land. Combined the two parks offer space for organized sports, playground areas, a jogging/walking trail system, and a pavilion available for rent. Wan-Ka-Kani Park

Wan-Ka-Kani Park is located in the Southwest part of Hurst at 748 Shadylane. This park sits on 4.1 acres and was established in 1976. Wan-Ka-Kani got it’s name from and Indian word for “to be outdoors.” The park was originally used as a bird and wildlife sanctuary.
